If you fancy a change of scenery, take the short drive (10 minutes) into Winter Haven for all the shopping and dining options that you could want, quieter than the 192 area but with just as much choice. Manny's Original Chophouse is a very short 5 minute drive down US27 or you could even walk if you preferred.
